“We have been fortunate to experience the pristine natural wonders of the polar north of Svalbard, frozen by ice eight months of the year. We were there in May, when it is daylight 24 hours a day,” says Ralitsa excitedly.
Svalbard is an archipelago in the Arctic Ocean between Norway and the North Pole.
“We went hoping to see polar bears in their natural habitat, but that is a rare blessing! We boarded a tourist boat that took us to beautiful glaciers inhabited by walruses, arctic foxes, polar bears and seals,” Rali and Zhivko recount the magic of their experience.
On the archipelago a hit is a tourist attraction named ski-sharing.
“For hours we soared in the endless white beautiful wilderness. We had a very experienced guide, says Ralitsa.
And if you think that this is the end of the exciting story of the Venkov family, you are sorely mistaken. Among their recent travel trophies are visits to the beloved Maldives, where they dived in neoprene wetsuits for hours to marvel at the majestic scenery; climbing the Summit Vincent Pyramid (4215 m), in the heart of the Alps; diving with humpback whales in Tahiti…And more unforgettable adventures in New York, Singapore, Morocco, Dubai and a fantastic cruise in the Mediterranean.
