The most eager participants have already completed their online registration for the Galata–Varna Swimming Marathon, which will take place on 26 July 2026.
As previously announced, registration through the official platform at www.varnamaraton.info opened on 1 June 2026 and will remain open until 19 July 2026. The entry fee for swimmers who register online by 30 June is €25.
Within the first few days of registration, 30 swimmers signed up online. The registered participants come from Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria.
The organizers would like to remind prospective participants that the entry fee for online registrations submitted between 1 and 19 July is €35. The fee for swimmers who have not registered through the marathon website is €50 (cash payments only).
The entry fee includes:
- breakfast and water at the finish area;
- a branded bag for storing personal belongings;
- an official swimming cap;
- a certificate of successful completion;
- a commemorative finisher’s medal;
- medical assistance at both the start and finish locations.
Swimmers from Bulgaria and abroad are encouraged to secure their place early and become part of one of the oldest and most prestigious open-water swimming events in the region.
