She is Boyana Kircheva, the face of Swimming Weekend 2022.
She was, of course, not chosen by chance. In Boyana’s rich collection there are more than 300 medals from state championships, national and international tournaments, and she no longer counts her records. In a frank conversation, she shares that she did not choose swimming, but that swimming chose her. She has been in this sport for 12 years now, which brings her the most wonderful magic in life.
“I swam once in the Galata – Varna marathon and once in the 1000 x 1000 show. I know that these two events are an unforgettable adventure for everyone who has touched them. My advertising message is clear: Swimming weekend 2022 – catch the wave! This slogan says it all,” says the champion.
She admits that swimming in the sea is not her element – for no other reason than because she is a competitor in the sprint disciplines, where her greatest successes are. But she knows that the idea of the swimming weekend is to get as many children as possible interested in the sport of swimming, which is truly an exceptional pleasure. In addition to promoting the swimming weekend on August 6th and 7th, the charming Boyana will also hand out part of the prizes in the big 1000 x 1000 raffle. “I have also prepared a special surprise,” says the beautiful champion with a mysterious smile.
