The idea for the unique for Bulgaria sporting event came from Mr.Rombaut, the Chairman of the Board of the swimming champion of Bulgaria – PSC “Black Sea” and CEO of “Agropolychim”.

For 5 years in a row, Mr. Rombaut and Lucky Hunt Projects, driving force and general sponsor of 1000 x 1000, have been giving this fantastic emotion to Varna residents and guests; provide attractive surprises for the participants. This summer everyone received branded T-shirts and hats with the Lucky Hunt logo. Before diving into the beautiful sea of Varna, participants warmed up with yoga exercises, under the watchful eye of a sculpted trainer with divine proportions.

The event is made possible due to the organization and planning of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Municipality of Varna, and PSK “Cherno more” – the Bulgarian swimming  champion, and with the kind cooperation of the beach concession company „Lazuren bryag ‘91”.

Two large groups took part in the event. Admiral of the Fleet Professor Boyan Mednikarov announced the start for the participants of the Navy School “N. Y. Vaptsarov”, who by participation in this event celebrated the 140th anniversary of the founding of the university. He presented them with stylish commemorative medals dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the creation of the Marine Alma Mater. Later, all the other participants started. Among them were many enthusiastic families with small children, swimmers and friends of the sea. The hosts from PSC “Black Sea” participated with 25 swimmers, led by their coaches Borislav Georgiev, Dorothea Slavkova and Kaloyan Georgiev.

The culmination came right after the finish – a raffle in which each swimmer participated with the number under which he/she had registered. The lucky ones, whose numbers were drawn, received vouchers for boutique cakes, tempting dinners by the sea and tickets for the attractions in Children’s Corner-Varna.
